Located in the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, The Space Mirror Memorial is a project of The Astronauts Memorial Foundation.

Memorial Spaceflights offer a service to take a small portion of cremated remains of a loved one into space. Missions into space that return the cremated remains to Earth are also available.
Memorial Spaceflights has agreements with providers of commercial space launch services for payload space.

The Astronauts Memorial Foundation was created after the Challenger accident in 1986 and honors and memorializes all those who perished on U.S. space flights or in training for manned space flights. The organization built and manages the Space Mirror Memorial ( dedicated in 1991 ) and the Center for Space Education ( opened in 1994.)
